Edna works in the architecture technology area, Her researches includes scientific and technical relations between architectural design and the constructive process, as well as building systems, techniques and practices based on the employment of timber and its derived products. . Her current interests are light timber systems.

Rosimeire atua na área de tecnologia da madeira. Seu atual interesse inclui a utilização da madeira como fonte de energia para produção de cerâmica Vermelha , Utilização de resíduos como fonte alternativa de energia, potencial energético de espécies da Caatinga, Pelos trabalhos desenvolvidos desde 2010 ganhou o PRÊMIO MULHER CIENTISTA 2013 - FAPERN na categoria JOVEM PESQUISADORA.
Rosimeire works in the wood technology area. Her current interest includes the use of wood as a source of energy for the production of red ceramics, the use of waste as an alternative energy source, the energy potential of Caatinga species. For the work developed since 2010, She has won the AWARD WOMEN SCIENTIST 2013 - FAPERN, category Junior Researcher.
